Juniors Classes
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for ages 10+ — advanced technique, conditioning, and a structured outlet that builds teen confidence. First class free.
The pre-teen and teen years are when a kid most needs somewhere real to put their energy. The Juniors & Teens program at Gracie Barra Georgetown is that place — Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for ages 10 and up, and the bridge between the kids program and the adult class.
Students at this age can handle real technical depth, sustained focus, and genuine conditioning. The curriculum is built to meet them there: advanced movement, conditioning, and the chains of technique and live-training skills that prepare a student for adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Professor Fabio Villela and the Gracie Barra Georgetown coaching staff hold Juniors to a real standard. Pre-teens and teens are expected to drill with intent, train hard, and carry themselves with discipline. The room stays supportive — but it is a serious class.
For a teenager, that combination is exactly what builds confidence: high expectations inside an encouraging environment. They get a structured outlet for their energy, a clear measure of progress through the Gracie Barra belt system, and a community of training partners who hold each other to a standard.
Older Juniors often help look out for the younger kids in the program, and that builds real leadership. It is why families from Wolf Ranch, downtown Georgetown, Liberty Hill, and the Sun City Texas community choose the program — for that mix of discipline, confidence, and belonging. Classes run at the academy on Williams Drive near Wolf Ranch Parkway.
The first class is free, with no contract for the trial. Dress your teen in comfortable athletic clothes, bring a water bottle, and arrive a few minutes early. Call or text (737) 298-2780 to book a trial class.
