Who We Are

This website is operated by Gracie Barra Georgetown, located at 4402 Williams Drive, Suite 160, Georgetown, TX 78628. We are a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy and part of the Gracie Barra global network.

Information We Collect

When you submit a form on this website, we collect:

  • Contact information: name, phone number, and email address
  • Program interest: which program you are inquiring about
  • Optional message: any additional information you choose to provide
  • SMS consent record: whether you opted in to text messages, the timestamp, and your IP address (required for legal compliance)

We also collect technical data automatically:

  • IP address: used for spam prevention and rate limiting
  • Browser and device information: collected by Cloudflare for security and performance

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry about our programs
  • Schedule your free trial class or consultation
  • Send you text messages about your inquiry (only if you opted in)
  • Prevent spam and fraudulent form submissions

We do not sell or rent your personal information. The only third-party services that receive any of your information are described in the "Where Your Data Goes" and "Cookies and Tracking" sections below.

Where Your Data Goes

When you submit a form, your information is captured by GoHighLevel's tracking pixel (loaded from our agency partner Capture Client) and sent directly to our customer relationship management system so our team can follow up with you.

We do not store your personal data on this website. The site itself is served from Cloudflare's global edge network as static files; the form submission is handled entirely by the GoHighLevel tracking script in your browser.

Text Messages (SMS)

If you provide your phone number and check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and appointment-reminder text messages from Gracie Barra Georgetown at the number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out at any time — we will honor opt-outs immediately and you will not be texted again unless you re-enroll. SMS consent is optional and is never a condition of enrollment, services, or any free trial offer.

Our SMS program is registered under the Application-to-Person 10DLC framework and operates in compliance with the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices. The phone number you provide for SMS is used only to send you the messages described above; we do not share your number with third-party advertisers.

Data Retention

We keep your inquiry and SMS-consent records for as long as you remain an active student or prospective lead, and for up to 4 years after your last interaction with us — this retention period exists so we can document consent in the event of a dispute under federal communications law. You may request earlier deletion at any time using the contact details below; we will honor the request unless we have a legitimate legal interest in retaining certain records (for example, to document consent in an active or threatened dispute).

Cookies and Tracking

We do not use Facebook Pixel or any cross-site behavioral advertising trackers. The third-party scripts loaded on this site are:

  • GoHighLevel / Capture Client (link.captureclient.com) — captures form submissions and attributes inquiries to the page they came from so our team knows which program you were viewing when you reached out. Described in more detail in "Where Your Data Goes" above.
  • Google Ads tag (www.googletagmanager.com) — measures whether your visit and any form submission came from one of our Google ads. The Google tag does two things on this site:
    • Sets first-party cookies in your browser (such as _gcl_au) to remember Google Ads click identifiers for up to 90 days, so we can attribute a later form-fill back to the ad that brought you here.
    • When you submit a form, takes a one-way hashed (SHA-256) copy of your name, email, and phone in your browser before sending to Google. This is a Google Ads feature called Enhanced Conversions for Leads. The hashing happens in your browser — your raw name, email, and phone are never transmitted to Google. Google compares the hash against its own records to confirm the form-fill came from a Google-Ads-attributed click.
We use Google Ads only to measure the performance of our own ad campaigns. We do not use it for retargeting, behavioral advertising, or sharing your data with other advertisers. You can opt out of Google's ad personalization at Google's Ad Settings, and most browser ad blockers will block the tag entirely.

The site itself is delivered by Cloudflare's global edge network, which collects standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention. Cloudflare retains these logs for 3–7 days depending on plan tier.

Your Rights

You may:

  • Request to see what personal data we have about you
  • Request that we delete your personal data
  • Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP
  • Withdraw consent for us to contact you

To make any of these requests, contact us at (737) 298-2780 or info@gbgeorgetown.com.

Children's Privacy

Our kids' programs serve children ages 3-15, but form submissions must be made by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. The phone number and email collected on the form belong to the parent or guardian, and SMS messages are sent only to that parent or guardian — not to the child.

California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the right to delete that information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your information. We do not sell your personal information. When you submit a form on this site, we share a one-way hashed (SHA-256) copy of your name, email, and phone with Google for the limited purpose of measuring our ad performance, as described in "Cookies and Tracking" above. You can opt out at any time using the methods listed there. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any third-party sharing described in this policy. To exercise your other CCPA rights, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute related to this policy will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgetown, Texas.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
